About LC Design Remodeling, Inc.

We are the oldest full service remodeler in the Shenandoah Valley. Known as The Remodeling Wizards, have satisfactorily completed over 2,100 projects during the past thirty-five years. We pride ourselves on creating unique solutions to challenging projects and on our dedicated craftsmen, two of whom have been with us for over twenty years (loyalty unheard of in our industry). As a full-service company, we have designed and remodeled many kitchens and bathrooms, finished basements, built additions – both expanding the footprint of the original home and adding a second story to an existing home, historic restorations, and full house conversions. I believe my company is a reflection of me as a person, so every project is treated with meticulous care, impeccable workmanship, respect for the individual’s home, and sensitivity to his feelings. As a result of this attitude, our clients keep coming back to us time and again when they need more improvement work. In fact, last year, over 80% of our business came from past clients and referrals. We are a Virginia State Registered Contractor both in building and plumbing.

Meet the Company

Leo Cekada

Leo Cekada – President

Leo is a graduate engineer with a BS in Structural Civil Engineering. Prior to moving to the Valley in 1971, he worked with commercial contracting firms in various capacities, beginning as a field engineer and progressing to project manager. Since 1971, he has concentrated on renovation projects, both residential and commercial. Using his education and experience, he has an uncommon understanding of the way a structure functions and how it can be altered to function properly in its new capacity.

Brian Cekada

Brian Cekada – Vice President

Brian, a Valley native, operated a kitchen remodeling business (Kitchen Wizards) for five years. In 2003, he merged the business with LC Design Remodeling, Inc. and took over the Vice-President’s responsibilities. With ten years experience in the remodeling industry, Brian can determine what our clients want and how we can provide our service to match their needs and their budget. Since he has recently completed a total conversion of his own 1895 farm house, he knows the frustration and anxieties an individual experiences during a major renovation and thus is sensitive to our clients’ feelings. Brian, his wife Dianne, and three sons live in McGaheysville, where Brian is active in youth sports and is very involved in his Church.
